| Well, this may be my last blog for a while. The missus and I are
moving into a new home in Sand Springs, and I'll undoubtedly be busy
for the next few days.
Those of you who keep up with my blog may wonder where the last entry
went. I made it private at the urging of a good friend who
thought it might cause unnecessary division.
| Ugh. It's nearly 3 AM, and it's 79 degrees outside. Too
warm to sleep unless one has air conditioning (or is completely
exhausted!).
Not much to report. Work is moving right along. I enjoy it,
for the most part. I missed work on Monday because of a nasty
stomach bug I suspect my youngest child gave to me. But I'll be
back tomorrow (actually, later today).
Oh, I guess I do have something to report. The Phanatics will be
reunited and living under the same roof come Friday. We've rented
a home in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. Wish us well!

| Well, as usual, it's twenty-after-three-in-the-morning, and I'm awake. I have work "tomorrow" (really today, really this afternoon, after I've slept), so I need to get to bed soon, but I promised myself I'd post at least a small blog.
I'm still loving my new job. We began on-the-job training this week, which means I'm out on the floor taking live calls. It makes me giddy when I correct someone's problem and they get their programming back. I can hardly describe the feeling. On the other hand, some of my calls take a long time, and I fear I might not be doing my job in a short enough timeframe.
A big shout-out to my Christian brother across-the-pond in England, Solly. Solly's a regular at www.theologyweb.com , and if you go there and register, drop him a PM to let him know I sent you (he knows me there as "Brother Vinny"). Keep fighting the good fight, bro!
| Well, I'm loving my job. Sometimes.
Got on the phone for the first time today, felt like a bumbling idiot. Can't wait for that feeling to pass!
Got to work early today to get some reading done. Seems like the Powers That Be want to keep the interior of my workplace near-cryogenically cool. It's great, when you've just come in from 95-degree heat. But once you're acclimatized, brrr!
Maybe I'll find a sweater.
| Gosh, it's hard to blog these days. I've been so busy with training at work and trying to learn C++ on the side that I haven't had time for much else. I have broken my addiction to NickPoints, however, so some good has come of this.
Anyway, this is just a short, silly blog about how I'm not able to write long, meaningful blogs.
I'll be back when I can. | | |
